A shrine dedicated to Nariakira Shimazu, the second head of the family, with bronze sculptures of Nariakira, Tadayoshi, and Hisamitsu. It is also famous as a deity of marriage for the marriage tie between Lord Shimazu Nariakira and Atsuhime. The shrine attracts a huge number of worshipers and it appeared in the phrase “Terukuni Shrine rake” in the opening theme song of the much-loved anime Yo-Kai Watch.
